I've finally figured out whats been happening these last few years.
Streetlights. I finally know.
You see, streetlights are supposed to come on at sundown, normally at 7pm in this part of the world.
For a number of years, I've noticed certain stretches of roads, where the streetlights come on at 7am, sunrise, and go off at 7pm sundown. This is a particularly stupid situation as everyone can see, why do we need streetlights during daytime and no lights at night?
I've always thought, you know, that's Malaysia for you. What can you expect?
I figured the people over at TNB maybe had hired a few retards, we just need to get used to it, the government linked companies, GLC's, have a high moral standard, they believe in employing a few of the mentally challenged, just to fulfil their civic duty.
I believed that's why we had stupid situations like streetlights on when we don't need them and off when we desperately need them.
I was wrong.
It's not that at all.
I've discovered the dark secret.
It struck me just a few nights ago.
I was driving along one of these stretches of unlit roads. It was pitch black.
I nearly hit this bangladeshi worker trying to cross the road. I was able to swerve at the last moment.
The smell of burnt tyre gave me an epiphany.
Its TNB's method of helping mother earth.
By, making the roads more dangerous, TNB will help to cause accidents and reduce the population and thereby reducing the strain on the environment..........makes sense what, less people better environment.
Wow, diabolical, plus environment friendly too.
TNB.....an example of corporate social responsibilty.
